About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care

(as a service user),

I recently had a colonoscopy at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. I had 2 operations here last year, to remove a lump behind my ear, and also for a hernia.

Every time from the first onward, the service has been exemplary. This business of people complaining about healthcare in Scotland makes me want to share my side, I was treated properly and with respect, looked after the whole time.

I was planning a trip to Africa soon, but this was entirely dependant on the results of this test. To save me from risking a possible cancellation they pushed my appointment forward, couldn't have asked for better or more thoughtful service.

And I got the all clear! I'm off to Africa!
