"My Dad's care"

I wish to express extreme gratitude to all of the hard working and compassionate staff within Ward 6C at Raigmore Hospital.

My Dad who has MS was admitted to hospital with a number of medical issues. The staff gave him such a high standard of care, addressing his various medical issues with the very best of care and in the most dignified way. We were constantly impressed by the medical knowledge shown by the staff and the various ideas they suggested to help to make my Dad to feel better.

They were willing to do so much to help my Dad recover and we were delighted when after 8 weeks in hospital he was able to return home to his loving wife, my Mum.

My Mum is also truly grateful to the staff at Ward 6C. They kept her informed, made her feel so welcome and gave her lots of hugs and cups of tea when we were having tough days. As a result, she has now made friends with a number of members of staff.

My sons and I were always made to feel welcome and we found the Ward to have such a warm atmosphere. We will be eternally grateful for your support and hard work which enabled Dad to come home to his family and we wish to express our thanks to each level of staff member from the Domestic staff who kept the ward so very clean, the auxiliaries, in particular Liz and Debbie who were so very kind and caring and they also made us all laugh too to the amazing nurses, doctors and consultants!

I would be most grateful if this feedback could be forwarded to the Senior Charge Nurse of Ward 6C.
