"Disappointed with personal care"

About: Edgbaston Hospital

Whilst the staff were good with medical tasks, there was a lack of help with basic care. I was never offered a wash and was constantly having to ask if I could have water to wash myself and brush my teeth (I was essentially immobile and vomiting lots so I really needed to!). I feel like this is something that should be high priority and it wasn’t!

Food was excellent, room was good and staff were very friendly but this aspect really really lets the BMI down, should be one of the easiest most fundamental parts of care.
