I am trying to look after my husband...
asked dr to do home visit in the summer - previous visit was given a tube of cream and steroid tablets for swollen stomach
was advised to get a wheelchair and bring him in.. I am late 70's cant push a wheelchair
or fit one in car... dialled 111 admitted to Walsgrave immediately and in for 4 weeks....
his swollen stomach was ascites with nash liver cirrhosis and kidney failure!!
Asked for home visit for blood test when discharged from hospital came eventually...
Just discharged from hospital again - discharge letter said blood test to be done in
1 week he is house-bound and i am trying to care for him.... phoned last week to say
he was seeing the specialist tomorrow - still nobody been.. just hope all new medication
hasn't done any more damage to him!! Don't know how much longer I can cope under these
circumstances..these doctors don't care...
