About: Furness General Hospital

I was taken by ambulance to A & E early yesterday morning by two wonderful paramedics. They were kind, caring and professional. I am a paraplegic and they really put me at ease as I was feeling anxious and scared going to hospital. I arrived at A & E in no time at all. 

The whole team in A & E were fantastic. The treatment, communication & professionalism of the staff could not be faulted. 

They are a fabulous team and I rate every member of staff as excellent and very hard working. I would like to say a huge thank you for their help and support on the day. 

We are so lucky to have these people in our lives and to help us when we are at our most vulnerable. Thank you to the paramedics and all the staff at Furness General Hospital Barrow.
