"Small Growth Removal below right eye"

This is my second visit to the Hinckley & District Hospital within a couple of years and I once again confirm just what a fantastic place it is. I attended the Ophthalmology Day Surgery Unit on Nov 22nd 2018 to have a small growth removed just below my right eye. Let me tell the prospect of someone putting a scalpel that near to your eye is a little disconcerting. No worries, close your eye they said so I did. They even let me do the 'Piano' joke. And that is really the point, the whole team put me completely at my ease and made it less traumatic. So, great team, great people thank you so much, you know who you are. The NHS has a jewel in the crown here.
