(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 16 in the evening suffering with pain and discomfort five days after I had a hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I cannot thank Dr Magowan, Registrar's, students and the staff on Ward 16 enough! They were all so kind, caring, understanding, considerate and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them.

Dear Caroline Burgess and Lynne McCutcheon,

You are very welcome. I was re-admitted to Ward 16 in the early hours this week with similar difficulties to my previous stay and I was discharged the next afternoon. My grateful thanks to Dr Brian Magowan, Dr Chris Dixon and all the other staff on Ward 16 for their help, kindness and care - you really do have an excellent team!:)
