I had my baby here on 22nd October 2018 and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and support I received. From the friendly receptionist who greeted us to all the lovely midwives we met. I started off in the Mendip birth Centre, the rooms are very spacious with a double bed, birthing pool, balls, aromatherapy oils and much more. I eventually moved to the Central Delivery Suite as my waters had been broken for over 24 hours, I had the loveliest midwife deliver my baby and I can't thank her enough for making my birth experience so incredible. She talked me through each step supporting and comforting me but also letting me be independent in my decisions. All the midwives I encountered were great but this midwife was brilliant. I would definitely recommend Southmead Central Delivery Suite to anybody having a baby, the care I received was outstanding even through to the aftercare in the Percy Phillips Ward.
