"Daycare staff had even thought about modesty"

About: Gilbert Bain Hospital / Ward 1 (surgical)

(as a service user),

The nurse who cared for me was excellent &knowledgeable.  All staff paid great attention to safety.

The daycare staff had even thought about modesty & used clothes pegs to help keep the curtains shut - such a shame a proper solution couldn't be found !

I am pleased to hear about your positive experience and the comments about our staff.

In relation to the curtains & modesty I am pleased this was given consideration. In relation to a more permanent solution we currently have a proposal under consideration by the Scottish Government to provide funding for a redeveloped Ambulatory (day) care facility. The aim of this project would be to significantly improve the physical environment and this should therefore address this issue

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback
