"Mum finally has hope and a positive outlook"

About: Stonehouse Hospital

(as a relative),

The staff at Stonehouse hospital are terrific. I have nothing but praise for them.

Mum has been transferred to Stonehouse hospital for a prolonged period of rehabilitation, and the difference in her within a few days of admission is incredible.

She is well nourished and hydrated.  She is offered a shower or a bath every day, if she wants one. She is given the option of having meals in her room or mixing with other patients in the sitting room.
She has started mobilising under the guidance of the physiotherapist.
As a result of Mum being in Stonehouse hospital, she finally has hope and a positive outlook.
We are very grateful for the care and attention that Mum is being shown by all the staff. They are a credit to the health service.

Dear Trinity 3,

Thank you for posting such kind feedback which I will share with our staff personally. Hospital moves and longer term rehabilitation can be challenging for patients and loved ones as everyone would like that next move to be back to their own home.

I'm delighted you and your mum have experienced the big hearts and person centered (and personal) touch our staff provide.

Hopefully the positive outlook along with continued rehabilitation will have your mum home soon.

Kind Regards

Gwen
