"Rudeness poor communication & missing..."

About: Oakwood Surgery

My mother came to see her GP in September due to lower limb pain, she was sent for a blood test and then followed up with an appointment. She has significant b12 deficiency which could be the cause of her pain++++++ and reduced mobility, however instead of this being addressed, the ignorant and rather rude doctor lectured and complained to her she is not managing her diabetes sufficiently and completely ignored the B12 deficiency.

She tried to manage the pain the massage, heat and exercise, however it was progressively getting worse. We then visited the GP practice again and saw the nurse practitioner who identified the b12 deficiency and prescribed a course of injections.

This is truly poor practice and should be reviewed.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We would like to apologise that you feel you haven't received our normal high quality service.

Due to the anonymous nature of this posting I have been unable to investigate details you have mentioned. I would welcome the opportunity to look into your particular case. I request that you contact me at the surgery to discuss further.

Kind regards
