After going to my doctor in 2016 with severe back pain, I discovered through a PSA test, that I had a higher than normal PSA. The back pain was unrelated and through MRI scans and Biopsy, it was clear I needed to be monitored for Prostate Cancer after being classified as Gleeson 3+3.
Over 2 years Urology have tracked my progress with regular repeat tests and finally when I was declared as Gleeson 3+4, I was advised to have a Radical Prostatectomy.
I am now post operation and feel I want to congratulate the team at Wycombe General's Urology Dept, under the leadership of Mr Kelleher for their outstanding care, teamwork and positive treatment.
Everything runs like clockwork and team spirit, sharing and communication are outstanding.
Long may it continue as this illness needs excellent and empathetic professionals.
Thank you
"Outstanding care, teamwork and positive treatment"
