(as the patient),

My husband and I have unfortunately suffered from 3 miscarriages in the last year. Any medical professional I have dealt with in the last year have been very cold and apathetic. My husband and I had an appointment with Dr. Patel last night and as I've had so many bad experiences during these tough times, I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't be heard. Dr. Patel was WONDERFUL. In our short appointment he listened and sympathized with me. He heard me when no one else wanted to give me the time of day. He is compassionate, kind and a real asset to the NHS. Everything you would want your GP to be. He referred me to specialist and has given me the piece of mind I desperately needed. I will request Dr. Patel everytime. Thanks again!

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding online, however there have been significant technical issues with the NHS Choices website which has meant that we have been unable to post any responses until now.

We first raised this with NHS Choices at the start of October 2018; however this has only just been rectified.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback about your experience of the GP that you saw at this practice. You have clearly had a difficult time and it’s important that you feel comfortable and supported by our doctors and it’s reassuring that this has been the case.

Your comments will be shared with the Doctors and the Team, who I know will be really pleased to read these. On behalf of the entire Team please accept my sincere thanks for your comments, which are very much appreciated.
