(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter's wheelchair was no longer fit for purpose for over a year and we had no other option of mobility for her. We had in the past waited for so long to get her reviewed, so much that I had lost hope altogether in the wheelchair services. This latest experience had never happened before; hence, my feedback!

We were seen in the clinic in July, had a mid-fit appointment for the new chair at home in September and like a 'miracle' we got a brand new wheelchair for my daughter in October 2018! ! ! I thought ..now.. this is NEW! ! ! The Lead Professional and her team handled the case with competence and so much sensitivity, taking my daughter's complex needs into consideration all through the period without "rubbing it in" and this was so so impressive and ..fresh! !

My daughter is more comfortable and currently getting used to her new chair, and we as her carers are also happy we would not need to have so much strain adjusting and positioning her in the chair like we used to do. Its so much a 'win-win' on all sides. Thank you so much for your help! It was all worth the wait in the end. God bless you"

Your comments regarding the Lead Professional and the team will be drawn to their attention and this will make their day. I am so pleased that your daughters complex needs were considered so sensitively and that she is so much more comfortable in the new chair.

We are delighted that your recent experience of the wheelchair service is an improvement on the old as the service has recently had an opportunity to review its processes and changes have been made to the parts of the process that was causing delays. We are currently working hard with our external supplier to improve the service provided to the residents of Bromley
