"The encouragement and support was outstanding"

About: Coathill Hospital University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

My wife suffered a broken Tibia in a car accident. Hairmyres Hospital arranged for Physiotherapy treatment on her release. This was provided by Clare McGee Physio and her assistant Ruby of C.A.R.S.  Her Mobility today is due entirely to the efforts of these two ladies. The encouragement and support she received from them was outstanding .

We thank Clare for setting up and updating the exercise programme and Ruby for  ensuring that the exercises were carried out accordingly. We also thank Clare for arranging Toilet and Bathroom Aids and also Stair Handrail and Grabs.

We wish them both well in their careers.

Dear scottyg

Thanks for taking the time to post your comments online. I am sorry to hear about your wife's accident and hope she is continuing to recover well. It is fantastic that Clare and Ruby have had such a positive impact on your wife's journey. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to both themselves and the wider team which they will be delighted to hear.

Thanks again

Claire Rae
