Went to A&E with lower back/stomach pains. I was there 5 hours. The staff were lovely. I was told I possibly had kidney stones and I would get a text to come for a CT scan the next day. No text!
I went back to A&E the next day to ask about the scan and was told I should have been there in the morning, why wasn't I there!?
A&E sorted out a scan for me (I have kidney stones) and I had another 5 hour wait to see surgeon to be told a consultant would contact me with a appointment next week as I wasn't in pain!
Guess what.... I didn't hear back re appointment so luckily I called hospital to be told I had s appointment for later that day but NO ONE had informed me!
I can only say the staff were lovely and caring but the hospital is totally disorganised!
