"Patronizing doctor"

I accompanied my elderly mother to this department for a macular injection. The nurses and the general staff were polite, accommodating and kind. However the consultant was unsympathetic , self important and unwilling to answer my questions. I came away with my queries unanswered and still in the dark about my mother’s condition . A doctor’s humility, caring , kindness and respect for the patient go a long way in the process of healing.
