"during pregnancy they refused me to give GP..."

Today morning i called my gp mill road surgery , i am in second trimester of pregnancy and badly suffering from constipation and piles which sometimes bleeds , midwife told me if i need any medicine for that i need to contact gp appointment , that problem i am suffering is so bad i contacted gp for suggestions if they can give me any medicine , when called the gp receptionist told me they are booked sorry no appointment , the person also did not hear me fully , also i told midwife told me to take gp appointment , she told me contact your hospital , did not even tell me when the appointment available next , as a pregnant woman how much important my problem is perhaps she did not realise , first time i got this kind of response from my gp and i am really upset , may be appointment is not available right now but there should be helping attitude that when it is possible to get like that , that kind of response from reception is really annoying .thanks
