"Making a recovery"

I experienced mental illness and found that was one of the best hospitals I have been admitted to.   The range of the activities on offer was very vast.   Everything from tennis to cooking with the occupational theraptist.   Also the trips made during the three  years I was a patient.   Patients and staff were very friendly and co-operative. I started off with escorted  being accompanied by staff and progressed to  having unescorted leave within the space  of a few months.   The food in comparison to other hospitals was far superior.   I felt safe to be on the ward knowing that  the security nurse was on the ward.
