"Paediatrician emergency"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I brought my 10 month old daughter yesterday night to Croydon University Hospital! She was vomiting and couldn't keep any fluid or food at all.We arrived around 5pm and we came out at 1 am!!you can easily imagine the wait!It was for us parents the worst experience ever for children medical cares!

We waited so many hours to see a doctor. When one finally came, this doctor was focusing on complete different matter than what we came for! Even said that my daughter was alert...and not really lethargic....!?(like they knew her for a while) when she was really down, really lethargic, this person could not even take a decision as a doctor and needed to refer to a paediatrician???!!!!!! What is the point to see that doctor?? Useless!!! They could have sent me to see the paediatrician  straight away. On the top of wait, you always have to repeat the same information you gave them.....when they all have notes written down???!!!! What is the point of their notes if the doctor or paediatrician  doesn't read them and come ask you the same questions again and again.

I have to say as well that the waiting was not clean....as many children were vomiting and the cleaning was walking around the vomit puddles like they have never seen them! The hygiene standards need to be reviewed!

At the end we have spent more than 6 hours for no good result....we have been sent home and today my daughter is still vomiting!

Our government should have improving the medical system as a higher priority than BREXIT! something more useful for the UK. SHAME!
