"Absolutely amazing service and great staff!"

This was my first visit to A&E in Leicester and I was so pleasantly surprised by the comfortable, modern and interactive department, patient-friendly design and instructions in the waiting area and treatment rooms and a quick and efficient service. One of the best hospital departments I've ever seen! I was well taken care of and everyone was nice despite the unfortunate situation I was in. The waiting was not that bad and I was clearly explained every step that followed. There were some minor delays with tests but clinicians apologised and explained the rationale behind it which completely reassured me. I absolutely loved the fact that in Leicester, Primary care service is integrated into A&E department and you get immediate follow up and a second opinion from another doctor. Absolutely amazing! The A&E doctor and the GP were super helpful and did the best they could to investigate the problem and reassure me about the current situation and further steps. The nurses were also wonderful and I felt well looked after the whole time while I was there. Keep up the good work!
