My husband was admitted to Airedale hospital on 10 th of August.We were over in Yorkshire from NIreland for my daughter’s wedding in Burnsall on 11th August.
Unfortunately my husband suddenly took very ill & was taken to Airedale.
Initially he was in A& E & then moved to HDU where he passed away on 16th August.
I can’t praise the hospital enough from the minute we arrived by ambulance until the minute he died.
Every single member of staff were amazing.They all treated my husband as if he was a member of their own family..He was given the best care we could have ever expected.They treated him with dignity & respect & love.
My family & I were at our wit’s end with the shock of what was happening and the fact we were so far away from home.
We were treated with respect & compassion & they went out of their way to help & comfort us too.
The most amazing hospital ever.
