"Amazing Care and Kindness at Hairmyres Hospital"

I attended the Rapid Access Clinic to have a replacement coil fitted, I attended the Clinic at Hairmyres Hospital with trepidation as I previously had a general anaesthetic to have it inserted due to complications.   Sheila made me feel at ease right away the minute I met her....she was so caring in the way she explained the procedure and although it was uncomfortable her patience and understanding made it more bearable.   I felt  faint during and after the procedure but she took the time to make sure I was ok and arranged for me to lie down in the next clinic for a bit all the time coming back and forward to check I was ok.   Her dedication to her job and her gentle spirit was amazing and I want to thank her for her care  that day.   Nurses are often not recognised enough for their care towards patients  so please everyone take the time to let everyone know the amazing work they do in our hospitals.
