"This will make a huge difference for me"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I had Dupuytrens Fasciectomy on my Left Hand. Mr Bezem, the Consultant, was very professional and excellent as usual. I have to say, due to my Daughters work, I was in from 7am to 7pm,but the Nurses and staff were all excellent in both the recovery ward and DSU. Many thanks for everything, this will make a huge difference for me. I had my right hand done recently and what a difference that made.

Dear Retired BT and Merchant Navy Radio Officer, thank you so much for taking the time to post your lovely comments on Care Opinion. I see that you had quite a long day in the unit, effectively a 12 hour shift, so it’s great to hear that you found the team to be excellent!

I am delighted to hear that the procedure went well and that it has made such a huge difference to your life. We don’t often hear how our patients are getting on following surgery and I’m sure when I share your comments with the team they will be just as delighted as I am.
