"What first class is really like"

I was refered to the Cath Lab for an Angiogram and then an Agioplasty to insert two stents.

Although I've been an out patient to the Cardiology unit for some time I have not had experience of the Cath Lab. My experience was exceptional, the whole team from Cardiologists Dr Cross and Dr Smith to the secretary in reception are fantastic. They are friendly, open, empathetic, efficient and completely professional. You feel as though you are the only person in the world, you are not treated as a sausage in a factory, you are kept fully informed and leave the unit feeling confident and relaxed. They need a medal, every one of them.
