"Poor consultants lack of knowledge ...fob you off"

I have spent nearly two years trying to get this department to listen to my illness ... over the months I got worse and worse ... they refused to accept there was anything wrong with me ... I finally got diagnosed 4 hours away by a different NHS I sought out as I got iller the travelling was too much so asked to come back here to see a new rheumatologist... exactly the same treatment , rude and not bothered didn’t want to listen or help and clearly has read what previous consultants there had presumed instead of looking at me with a fresh pair of eyes many months on my whole life has been destroyed and I find myself having to go to the next closest hospital where the whole attitude was right let’s get this sorted unfortunately this will take months and my illness has progressed so much ... I only wish I had done this months and months ago rather than persevering with this hospital and department where clearly I am tainted and they don’t want to help ... maybe correct treatment and attitude in the early days would have not allowed my life to have been stripped away from me
