Following previous surgery, at a different hospital (many moons ago) was very apprehensive to have surgery again, due to reaction to anaesthetic.
Need not have worried from the first time meeting the consultant, felt reassured and at ease.
A lovely personable consultant, shaking hands, eye contact, friendly nature went a long way.
On the day of surgery, i seen nothing but friendly, professionalism from every single member of staff.
Everything was fully explained and put me fully at ease.
The Anaesthetist (sorry i didnt catch his name) worked wonders to assure me that only safe drugs would be used due to previous experience and i felt 100% confidence in him - thank you.
Ward 15 and all of the team who work on it, are a credit to the profession and the Trust, and credit where credit is due, every single one of them deserves a huge a THANKYOU and a pat on the back
