I've just spent 3 days in Wards 8 and 9 being treated for acute cholecystitis; a gall stone has been identified and I will be receiving surgery to have it removed. From the moment I arrived (at 9.00am following a phone call from my GP at 8.10am) I was treated with courtesy, care and concern - from everyone ... reception staff, porters, nursing assistants, nurses and doctors. Nothing was too much trouble and I always felt valued. Hospitalisation is never something to look forward to, but I feel confident about returning in a few weeks' time for the surgery.
"An outstanding experience"
