"long wait and unprofessional approach"

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency

i came A&E at Ealing hospital as per my GPs advice with clear aymptoms of Malaria. A&E nurse examined me within 15 min of my arrival. i have been waiting 3 hours to see a doctor now. I went back to the A&E nurse again after about 2.5 hours to check if they could refer me for a blood test. they refused.i asked him is that the hospital policy. i read out uclh nhs website and a few other nhs hospital website which state - In A&E many patients may have blood tests and x- rays carried out prior to seeing a doctor or ENP.

it is very clear that i need a blood test for the doctor to be able do or prescribe anything. i will end up waiting another couple of hour for blood test and to see the doctor again. its not just a joke but a blatently stipid practice to have to wait 4 hours to get a blood test referal. Why cant the A&E nurae not refer for blood trst while the patient is waiting when they can do so in other hospitals.
