"Anorexia and multi-family Therapy outstanding"

My daughter entered the service in March 2017 severely underweight and refusing meals on a regular basis.

The staff were outstanding in supporting both my daughter and the wider family in what has been one of the most traumatic periods of our life.

We had both individual therapy and intensive multi-family therapy over a 6 month period.

My daughter is now a healthy weight and has far greater insight into her own psychological well-being.

She has become mature beyond her years and takes responsibility for the challenges that face her as a recovering anorexic.

We could not have achieved this without the fantastic and unswerving support of the Maudesley Clinic, from the reception staff, to the head of service, as well as the clinicians of course.
