"No continuity of care"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / General surgery

(as a carer),

My son recently admitted to hospital with broken tib/fib. Following surgery was an in patient for two weeks.

Was on 3 different wards. There was no continuity of care, given different information on each ward.

Would have been useful to have one person you could speak to for advice and clarification.

We're sorry to hear you've had such a poor experience at the hospital.

We'd like the opportunity to try and learn from some of the points that you make, so please do contact our PALS (patient advice and liaison service) team on 0800 953 0667 or ghnt.pals.service@nhs.net so that we can record your comments officially.
