"Inaccessible GP surgeries"

About: NHS Dudley CCG

(as a service user),

I was a patient at Norton medical practice it closed. I could not get public transport to Lion health so chose 3 Villages as Wollaston surgery was on a direct bus route from my home. Then less than 6 months later they say Wollaston will shut. I have investigated on line the bus options. 276 & 246 leaves me some distance beyond the Amblecote surgery. 276 and x96 takes a very long time and the X96 is not very reliable. Therefore the comments on 3 Villages web page seem ill informed to say the least. What proper provision will be reviewed at the meeting 19th September. I went to the CCG meeting for Norton and it seemed a fait accompli. I can at present get a blood test at Wollaston which is very handy. With all due respect what chances do the patients have in retaining Wollaston? Sadly I will be away for the September meeting and due to fatigue could not make the others. I live with multiple conditions hence my desire to have easily accessible GP surgery. I used to go to Norton on my mobility scooter.
