"Rheumatology Review"

Attended a scheduled consultant appointment with the doctor.

It was the first time that I have seen the doctor, and it was the first appointment that I've been to where I felt I could ask questions, where my diagnosis (or lack thereof) was discussed and that I felt I was having an informed conversation.

We discussed information that I had been told by other medical professionals which was causing me some worry, only to find that their information was factually incorrect.

It was a shame I didn't see this doctor first, as my general experience with the Rheumatology Team would have been more informed and less filled with worry and concern.
