"Feeling vulnerable on the maternity ward"

So many people came in and out of my room when I was in the maternity unit at Broomfield hospital. They all meant well but it felt hectic and very disruptive. I especially felt vulnerable when staff didn’t knock which happened frequently (particularly with catering and domestic staff) or didn’t leave when it was clearly inconvenient but stated they had to do their job. I felt very vulnerable at times when trying to breastfeed (and when learning being very exposed).   I think it may have put some people off breastfeeding which would be a real shame. I wonder if an idea could be to create a sign to put on the door/curtain maybe with a symbol? To discreetly tell people not to enter.
