"A little more explanation for a first time mother"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

My experience throughout has been lovely but could of been a little more conversation and explanations when your a first time Mother.

Nothing really discussed or explained regarding pain relief or where I am to go. Apart from that everything else has been lovely.

Midwifes at Oldham are lovely girls too

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about our Maternity Service. I would encourage you to contact me directly either via Care Opinion or email so that we can discuss your ideas about the provision of more information regarding pain relief.

Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voces Partnership meet at Shaw & Crompton Children's centre on the 1st Friday of every month and are helping to develop our maternity service. Why not come along? Alternatively you can find out more on Facebook or Twitter @oldhammvp

If you are having any difficulty logging onto your account please contact the Care Opinion team at info@careopinion.org

My email address is Samantha.whelan@pat.nhs.uk

Once again thank you
