After reading several very negative reviews of St George’s I felt I had to leave my own as I had an extremely positive experience there giving birth to my daughter in May 2018. All the staff were considerate, attentive and caring. Our midwife Irina was wonderful (I have just finished writing our thank you card to her). I received the epidural I wanted as soon as I asked for it. Irina made sure it was topped up as much as I wanted. Several times during active labour my baby’s heart rate dropped and the full team was in the room within seconds. I am so grateful to the staff at st george’s for helping me have the birth I wanted and ensuring my baby arrived safely.
