"Cardiac appointment"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Cardiology

(as a relative),

Went to cardiology appointment with relative. After examination Doctor didn't speak for ages but sat and wrote notes and spoke into their dictaphone. Wondered what they were doing. Was trying so hard to make sure I listened to what they were saying that when they did start to explain results I missed things.  Always take a notepad to jot things down!

Doctor could've explained to us that they would speak to us in a few minutes after they'd made their notes. Confused us a little as we were beginning to think that was them explaining results when they started speaking into their dictaphone.
