"Thoughtful staff"

About: Woodend Hospital / Radiology

(as a carer),

Hi - last week my mum who has been having leg pains was referred for an x-ray appointment at Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen. I wanted to pass on my thanks to the reception and radiology staff who welcomed us and saw my mum immediately so we didn't wait but also to the 2 staff who walking past us both offered their assistance to help us walk to the department. I just thought it showed the thoughtfulness of those working there. My mum wanted to try and walk so battled on but made her feel that if she needed help she could have asked for it.

Thank you.

Dear SALF14,

Firstly thank you for taking the time to post such a nice opinion. I will share with the team directly and reflect how their own actions have made such a positive experience for your mum and yourself. I know they take great joy in delivering thoughtful care to those who attend our department for procedures.
