"Very Very Bad experience"

About: The Keys Family Practice

I am writing this review after much frustration i had faced with this surgery. First one was when i went in end of April for my Son. He had been complaining about pains in his leg even when he had only sat all day long/no play or anything, and i am talking about sever pains that he would end up getting teary and all. He is 9 years old so not a little child who is unable to tolerate any pain at all. So was referred for the blood test. Recently we have had moved into new house, before this appointment i have rung surgery to get my address changed but she wont take it over the phone but said i had to personally go in there, fill a form and only then they will be able to change it... so on this very day when i went to see male nurse(blood test referral), i filled in the form and handed it over at reception. After waiting for about a week for the blood test appointment when i did not hear anything back i rung the surgery and asked that i did not get no letter/call for the blood test, i was told because my address was wrong on their system that is why i did not receive any letter. I told the lady over the phone that i personally went to surgery and handed my new address for all my family members at the reception, she could not explain why it was not changed but asked me to again go back there, get my address changed and get the letter in person which i did.

After waiting for about 4 weeks when finally i went to the hospital and handed over whatever my surgery provided, i was told no blood forms/labels were there and in the letter no where it was mention that what kind of blood test my son was there for, so they could not do anything about it. I was absolutely fuming with anger after dragging my kids straight from school to the hospital on the bus and then was told they could not do it, what a waste of 2 hours.

Then recently this month in july i had appointment with the nurse only to discuss my blood result. It was at 1240. My son goes to afternoon nursery, whilst we were walking down he fell over and got hurt on his knees, so denied to walk at all. So i carried him to the school and he was winging and all about his wound which would meant was that i could not be at the surgery on time. So i rung surgery to ask how long i was allowed to get there, i was advised that if i was late more than 10 minutes then i would have to re-book my appointment. I reached the surgery at 1247 and got attended by the staff at 1248, but nurse still refused to see me, told it was lunch time. My frustration was because of the fact that i rung there before i made my way to the surgery, i could have just gone to home and re book it. Because i was told i was allowed 10 mins that is why i went there. I personally had waited there 20-30 mins to get seen by doctors at number of occasions for my pre book appointment and never made no fuss about it, but i was late for 8 mins and no body would see me.

This is how much they are committed to their jobs and to their patients. SHAME
