"I "missed" the appointment I never received"

About: NHS Shropshire CCG Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Audiology

(as the patient),

I was referred by GP to audiology unit at RSH and received a letter from SCCG saying they had got the referral and I should wait 4 weeks to hear from the audiology department.

After couple of weeks I get a letter from audiology stating that I have missed an appointment - one that I have never received.

I do not miss appointments, but now, of course, I go to the back of the queue and have an undeserved bad reputation.
