"Run while you can"

About: Grove Medical Centre

Been with this surgery for a couple of years after leaving a very good surgery due to being outside the catchment area.

Since being here I have not found the doctors to be very warm, welcoming or even listen properly. They have made no effort to get or track down my medical records from my old doctors or even look into my past medical history to be able to prescribe me the correct medication or even treat me correctly.

Annoyingly they seem to use training doctors a lot who are there one month gone the next which means I have to explain my medical history to the next one over & over.

Everytime I leave the surgery I always feel like my appointments are rushed because the doctor is running late & nothing has been achieved or gained from my appointment also the doctors don't seem very caring more like robots. Also after leaving I always feel deflated as I've been made to feel like absolutely nothing is wrong with me & everything is just due to stress weas I know it's not.

I feel my health issues have got worse not better since joining here & plan to leave once I can either find a better surgery or persuade my old one to take me back.

Thank you for your comment about the Grove Medical Centre. We are sorry to hear that your experiences at the practice have not gone well.

The Practice has a complaints procedure in place to deal with any concerns about the Practice and we encourage these to be raised with the Practice Manager who will formally investigate the complaint.

I am sorry to hear we have not received your Medical Records, this is unusual as we receive most Medical Records electronically within 24 - 48 hrs of registering patients onto our system from previous practices depending on the electronic clinical system being used by the previous practice and then the hard copy of the Medical Records would normally take approximately 6-8 weeks to be received.

We are a Training Practice which we are very proud of and believe plays a very important role in developing new General Practitioners for the future.

We also have five General Practitioners working for the practice, these are, Dr Mohamedali, Dr Forgan, Dr Barton, Dr Husain and Dr Zhang, who are available to book appointments with throughout the week.
