About: St Thomas' Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was referred from Queen Mary's Hospital by the team at King's for retinal surgery following a detachment. I had excellent care on the day of the surgery by all involved, and it was a BH Monday and a busy hospital. I felt safe and was well looked after. I had a follow up arranged the next day back with King's so that I did not have to travel again to St Thomas', and a two week follow up back at St Thomas' with discharge again to local services. I was reassured that everything was recovering as it should be and was well assessed at the appointment. Thanks to King's and St Thomas' for working in partnership and providing excellent services for me in my diagnosis, surgery and recovery follow up between two organisations! It was a great help to me!!

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that your treatment and care was well co-ordinated across both King's and St Thomas'. Also we are really pleased to hear that you felt well cared for at each step of your treatment. We will pass your comments on to the teams involved.
