So my child less than three years fractured her foot last week. A& E was brilliant, seen, xray'd and had a cast all within the hour. Brilliant however the fracture clinic appointment is not for another 10 days! Four days in and on cast no 2 which has to be done by A& E? ? What's the logic in that? Fracture clinic will not see look until the appointment, any problems and it's back to A& E each time! They will not even entertain seeing my toddler. What a complete farce, no wonder A& E are full? So the cast has wriggled off again so it's back we go.... politics of hospitals should not cause patients to wait that's ridiculous
