"Treatment of my husband's conditions"

I would like to share with you my recent experience of the Castle Practice, the doctors and staff.

About 18 months ago may husband went to the practice with what he thought was a digestion problem (hiatus hernia). Following a consultation with a doctor he was promptly referred to hospital for tests. These tests reveal he had cancer in his oesophagus. Due to the prompt action taken by the doctor it was caught early and to date successfully treated.

Last month he had a slight chest pain so decided to book an appointment. On consulting the doctor he was given an ECG at the surgery. This test revealed some thing was not right. The doctor immediately wrote a letter and referred him to Heartlands Hospital. Within 10 hours of seeing the doctor he had a stent inserted in his heart.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for both the doctors and practice, as I feel my husband may not be here now but for their prompt action, particularly as the practice is under press from a shortage of doctors.
