(as the patient),

Attended the Day care recently to have a breast op, I was anxious worried but the staff couldn't have been more reassuring. From admission through surgery through recovery and discharge.

The surgeon personally met me before and then escorted me to theatre, and after the op visited me in recovery. I cant fault anything on the day. The hospital is clean, bright, quiet, well signposted.

I was pleased to learn that you felt that the staff and surgeon were reassuring. It is always encouraging to receive positive feedback and your comments are much appreciated.

We will of course share your very kind words with the staff and surgeon in the Day Surgery Unit, who I am sure will be very heartened to hear that their good work has been recognized in such a way.
