"Cataract Operation"

Arrived early. No notes available as still in records. 20 minute delay. Last of 7 to be called for assessing. Surgeon then declined to do the operation and was sarcastic about opticians, although it was one of their colleagues who had agreed I should have the operation.  

Another short wait, then told I could go home and a further out patients appointment would be sent in the post. No apology. Felt very let down and an   unnecessary waste of N H S time.
