"words cannot describe how grateful I am thankyou..."

About: Wansbeck Hospital

What I liked

I went into hospital to be induced as I was over my due date but ended up having an emergency c-section. Throughout this very traumatic time I was kept informed of what was happening, involved in all the decission making and was treated with compassion and dignity and throughout I felt the staff actually cared. The consultant midwife and theatre staff were amazing and they turned a traumatic experience into a very positive one.

As I was being preped for theatre i was very anxious as we had been told that our baby may not survive and my husband had been taken to another room to put on a theatre gown. There were several people taking various readings giving me injections etc but one member of the theatre team kept hugging me and taking me through what was happening. My baby was born fit and well and I am sure this is because of the quick thinking and speed of all who were involved. I have a lot to thank them for and will be eternally grateful.

What could be improved

nothing thet were brilliant

Anything else?

Keep up the good work and thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
