"me, my MS and my visiting care plan"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Physiotherapy for adults

(as a service user),

I felt hopeless, marooned in a hospital car park unable to physically get to the rehab Physio gym who might help me.  I broke down and had to cancel my Physio therapy. I felt so useless.  Then it was suggested that the treatment could come to me not the other way round.

The angel in the shape of Debbie, comes to my house and with gentle persuasion and expertise encourages me to achieve undignified small steps. But for me to be achieving actual exercise is both physically and mentally uplifting.

We have an excercise routine which I can smile about it, I have equipment that you have tested and makes me feel secure.

In a lost and potentially isolated world I feel human again with some of the world at my feet where once it was a vain hope.  Now it is a reality. All because someone bothered to bring their skills to my doorstep and encouraged me to make the best of what seemed like a hopeless situation
