"It made me feel capable again as a mother"

About: Ealing Perinatal Mental Health Team

(as the patient),

My recent experience has made me feel capable again as a mother. My nurse was very caring, enabled me to see things differently. I could easily confide in them. The sessions were at my pace, having them in my own home made a huge difference. The support form my nurse gave me confidence, which made me feel better.

I was really impressed with the speed I received a visit and how often the nurse could see me. I would not be scared or embarrassed to seek the same/ similar help in the future if needed.

Thank you for your feedback. The perinatal period is a very crucial time due to all the changes experienced in this transition.

We are glad the form of intervention you received from your allocated nurse made a difference to your experience of motherhood.

We wish you all the best.
