"I wish I had known about this place a lot sooner."

About: Stronach Day Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Stronach Day Service is great. I do exercises with my friends and I join in with different activities.

The staff are so friendly and helpful.  The staff are also very attentive and look after everyone the same. I wish I had known about this place a lot sooner.

What is positive about Day Service is that your amongst a group of people and never on your own.

I come here to also give my husband a rest and when I return home, I have different things to talk about. My Family are pleased that I enjoy myself and I really look forward to attending.

With living on an island I think Day Service could maybe introduce a Counselling Service as there really is no Services available for when you go through a life changing illness. This would really help me.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences of Stronach Day Services with us, it is very important for us to know that we are making things happen for those who attend our services.

You clearly enjoy attending the service and I will of course pass on your kind words to the staff in the centre.

With regards to your ideas about other island services, I will discuss them with my colleagues based on the island and see what can be considered.
